MEET MISS AMERICA’S OUTSTANDING TEEN 2019 LONDON HIBBS

AGE: 17

London will embark on a whirlwind journey that will take her all over the country during her year of service as Miss America’s Outstanding Teen 2019. She will educate audiences about her platform “Check YES 4 Life!” as the National Teen Spokesperson for Donate Life America, and act as the official National Teen Goodwill Ambassador for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, a non-profit organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children by raising funds for children’s hospitals. Sixty-two children enter a Children’s Miracle Network Hospital for treatment every minute. London will work passionately to promote this worthwhile organization along with the triumphs of its miracle children, their parents, and the hospitals’ doctors and staff. CMNH is the national platform partner of the Miss America’s Outstanding Teen Organization.

London has spent more than 300 hours volunteering for Children’s Miracle Network, Donate Life Texas, The Salvation Army, SPCA, Operation Care International, Meals on Wheels, Soup Mobile, Marvin United Methodist Church, North Texas Food Bank, Junior Symphony League, and with the Student Council and Gospel Choir at Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing & Visual Arts.

In addition to singing, London is an accomplished actress who appears in the August 2018 release of the feature film, Beautifully Broken. She has been featured in dozens of musicals and commercials. London also excels in a variety of dance styles including ballet, tap, hip-hop and tumbling. An avid traveler, London has visited 23 countries. She enjoys snow skiing and snowboarding, and loves time with her family and playing with her dog Hyleigh and bird Sweety.

Along with the title of Miss America’s Outstanding Teen 2019, London won a $30,000 scholarship provided by the Harris Rosen Foundation and the Orlando Scholarship Foundation, Inc. toward her college education. In addition, she was a double preliminary award winner, receiving a $500 evening wear/on stage question scholarship and a $500 scholarship in the talent category, for which she performed “Think of Me.” London is a classically trained vocalist who can sing in 10 different languages!

This year’s Miss America’s Outstanding Teen Competition in Orlando featured the nation’s best and brightest young women between the ages of 13 and 17.

While all 51 representatives embodied the four hallmarks of the program: service, scholarship, success, and style; five rose to the top in the interview portion of the competition this summer.  They are:
